Last weekend I photographed this absolutely adorable family on the campus of Rogers State University. The day was extremely grey and cloudy, but the Mizera family’s brightly colored vests and equally “bright” personalities made for some great pictures and a fun session! RSU was a great location for picturing taking, especially early on a Saturday morning when most of the students were either traveling back home or still asleep in their dorm rooms. I always enjoy getting to take photos and not have to worry about people “photo-bombing” in the background.
I’ve said it before, and I will say it again: I always love taking photos of families together. It brings my heart so much joy to see the love and laughter than happens in each family I get to photograph. Sure, no family is perfect and everyone has their quirks (my family included!), but the joy that families have when they are all together is one of my favorite aspects of photography. With Christmas right around the corner, it’s hard not to feel the heartwarming feelings that come when you are with the ones you love. It’s cliche, I know, but being together with family during the Holiday season is something that I look forward to each year.
To the Mizeras – Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your absolutely precious family! I had a wonderful time walking RSU’s beautiful campus and spending the morning with you all! Praying that your family has a Merry Christmas this year and a wonderful and blessed New Year!
